An Urban Adventure race where strong minds beat strong legs!

Are you ready for adventure? Join us for our urban adventure race – Amazing Race Lafayette-West Lafayette Season 2. The race is a chance to enjoy, explore and engage in our community. The Amazing race will take place on Saturday April 28, 2012. The race is a school board approved event and all proceeds will benefit New Community School.

Just like the TV version, two person teams will race in “heats” from destination to destination, completing tasks and challenges throughout Greater Lafayette in hopes of winning. These timed heats will compete for top prizes for the fastest finishers. Grand Prize Package valued over $1000, including two Apple ipads!

The Details

  • Amazing race will take place on foot and CityBus trolley only
  • Heats will start at 9:00am and commence hourly the rest of the day. Limited to 150 teams
  • Heats will take 3-4 hours to complete. You can request AM or PM start times on your registration form
  • 2 person Family Teams for parent and children age 5-11 will start at 10:15am and proceed every 60 minutes. These family heats are for fun and spirited completion only
  • Cost is $50 per team for both races
  • Both races start and finish at Riehle Plaza in downtown Lafayette
